Comment: Big round cat's eye with a best-of-class ray. See the daylight photo without beam for the base body color. Under tungsten-light the gem changes to an orangish yellow with a silver ray. Very nice! Affordable but a true gemstones. Cabochon apatite is not too soft for a ring if you treat it with the care a true gem deserves. Naturally it will be 100% fine in a pendant. Another example of the many opportunities in colored gemstones for those who are open to novelties. A classic chrysoberyl cat's eye in this size, quality and full color would cost a fortune, yet there is no need to waste your life with cheap fakes. A gem like this is true value.
