Comment: Re-cut from a 1.7 carat oval stone. This ruby is the classic vivid red that is called pigeon blood in Burma, a deep tranquil red, not the aggressive wild pink red we sometimes see in Namya or lately also in Tanzania. No pink, no purple, just red-red as far as nature allows. No inclusions visible to the unaided eye. Extremly rare shape, great for a ring.
