Comment: Intense red-red ruby, deeply saturated with hardly any secondary hue, other than pink of course. Big enough for a pendant. Though some inclusions are visible to the naked eye (when light falls in from the back only) the gems overall appearance is not disturbed but rather enhanced by the fine silky sheen of its needle structures. Best Burmese red marking the border between the "wild" and the "mild". No violet, no purple, of course no brown, just red in the densest form on earth.
