Comment: With nearly 7x8 mm this red-red spinel is big enough even for a pendant. Though shallow, the intense color fortunately covers the center without even the hint of a window. Big red flashes from this rare shape and cut in red gems. Connoisseur alternative to unheated mild ruby (add one zero for ruby in this clarity, cut and color). Non-flashy, yet visible. Great value.
