Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: Classic Ceylon blue sapphire in a crisp fresh hue. Some color zoning can be seen but only from the side. Slightly cut off-center in the back, which does not hurt the color but helps with the price per carat. As good as free of inclusions (one dot in the backs surface looks like an inclusion under the lens, but is in fact not). Great value for a untreated blue sapphire in this size. By-catch of a hunt, priced to move.
