Comment: Unheated pure red ruby from Mozambique. Except for a silky crystallite layer this gem is free of inclusions even under the lens. GRS certified. No brown, no purple, no pink, no violet, always red, never dark. Great night fire - very sparkly even in low light. With one and a half carat definitely a serious size. This kind of all-natural rubies, clean and pure red, will only get more expensive. Set in a simple gold or platinum ring it is a no-nonsense heirloom to last generations. It will never break, it never looses value, needs no maintenance, costs no taxes; and it is always pretty.
