Comment: With twelve perfectly centered sharp rays, each one as perfect as the next, this stone is outstanding in any dimension. 12 ray stars are extremely rare compared to the usual six rayed specimen (most likely less than one in a thousand). In addition to this rare feature this sapphire comes in the most sought after color and from the best of all origins. Untreated, perfectly cut and without any excess weight. Probably the best Burmese twelve ray star available for a long time. Please see additional photos since stars are notoriously difficult to capture. The intersection point shines overly strong especially in this variety.
