Comment: Flowery red with a hint of purple. Fine crystal and excellent clarity: only the lens will show some minor inclusions in the outer rim. Good luster. Not deep but hardly windowed. Very good alternative to ruby and probably a good investment. Challenging Burmese spinel in all but price. Rich red sparkler.
