Comment: Acknowledged being the rarest of all gem minerals, red beryl from Utah is a high-light in any collection. This small, well formed crystal is around 7mm long and 3x3mm in width. It shows a distinct color break from deep red to pink. The crystal is in cabochon quality and may be around 2 carat. We have acquired a parcel of 5 rough pieces and want to keep two in a natural crystal shape. This is the smaller specimen of the two.
