Comment: Balancing pink and purple, this spinel from badakshan (the famous ?balas spinel') shows a mild but dense color with lots of fire. Addictive substance under the lens. One air-bubble sits in the outer edge, invisible to the eye but a sweet natural detail to behold. Great stuff, still affordable when compared to red spinel or pink sapphire. Precision cut. And yes, it is as beautiful as the picture.
