Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: Round spinel in great reddish purple and mountains of fire. The not 100% perfect native hand-cut is all that separates it from an "excellent" (and an $ mark-up). However, the unaided eye does not perceive any flaws in the cut (if you must know: The back is slightly off-center and it is not 100% round). Other than that this a great gem for a ladies ring. Rather posh but not too showy. Reminding of purplish ruby in low light. No inclusions.
