Comment: Hard-to-find good color and good star in big size sapphire. No ugly inclusions, perfect dimensions, no overweight in the back but well shaped and text-book flat. The collector will enjoy the trapiche structure under the lens (crystal growth lines). As always the star is the toughest challenge to capture on photo, so this is a pretty good star in person. See the no-star image to get best impression of the body color. Lovely and all-natural Ceylon star sapphire. Easy big enough for a gents ring in any size.
