Comment: This is our first alex cat's eyes since 2006 or so! Not that we didn't want any, we just couldn't get any good quality (read: not the cheap Indian material). Here is a real Ceylon Alex cats eye: Lake green at day, reddish purple at night, razor sharp centered ray, no inclusions, absolutely transparent. Pinnacle high-end collector gemstone. Subtract some yellow from the night image. At night (in neutral tungsten light) the stone is of a cold purple with some violet in it.
