Comment: Mildly colored Ceylon pad on the pinkish side of the traditional spectrum between orange-pink and pinkish-orange. Rare opportunity to own this famous gemstone above two carat and from his genuine origin.  A set of bubbles becomes visible only with the lens (and the camera), a single crystal might be visible to the trained eye only from one angle and in strong light. Untreated padparadschas from Ceylon are amongst the most sought-after collector items in the gem market. This was our only pad above two carat in 2006.
