Comment: Here is probably the biggest untreated Montana sapphire in precision cut. Considering that 2 carat means big for a Montana sapphire and that strong colors are equally rare, we are here looking at a truly exceptional gemstone. Inclusions (silky growth-lines in perfectly symmetric angles and parallels) are visible only under the lens. Master precision-cut in Sweden by Conny Forsberg. Fantastic. Ignore that the GIA in Bangkok has classified it as Sri Lankan - utter nonsense! - we have seen this rough coming straight out of the earth in Montana. Probably we need to send it to GIA in Carlsbad for a correction. Anyways, this is one of the greatest Montana sapphires, ever.
