Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: Jade-like (but much more affordable) translucent smoothly dark-green gem in extra-big pendant size. Magic item in ancient Maori culture, but also used in famous Faberge pieces. Healing gem against problems with scalp (allegedly it helps hair growth) and works against headaches. If you envision classic Maori warriors, they are quite hairy fellows and don't seem to suffer from headaches: so there you are! Similar to jade, bowenite is ignored by the camera and the lens focuses on anything around the stone (like the hand) but not ON it (like it is a 'ghost-matter'), hence my images on blue background where it shows the colour most realistically (in the handshot is it all dull). Great alternative to jade, or a romantic New Zealand pendant. Full IGI report costing $200 a pop included in our price, as always. Untreated, as always. Perfect finish, as almost always.
