Comment: Fancy orange-pink tourmaline (not rubellite) with diamond qualities. Delicate sunset color. Never pale. Ignore dark lines and shadows in handshot; they are reflections from the skin, visible because it is such a gentle hue. In person, and in any setting, the gem sparkles in pink and orange only. In low light, we have rose pink just like from an Abraham Darby or a JACsur with an orange glitter. Though not clearly visible in the images, this triangle is symmetric, German style, with two identical legs over one short base, thus cut with a pendant in mind. DSEF certified, unheated, no window, no visible inclusions, coming from old Afghani rough, from a time long before we made a mess of the place. Elegant gem with just the right balance between understatement and visibilty.
