Comment: 'Simple' and effective design concentrating on the center stone with only a few diamonds to catch extra glitter. Holes drilled into the band (under each diamond and in increasing size and diameter) leave light for the stones and air for the skin; see 'more images' - these are the little details that make the difference. 'Bauhaus' would be the style coming to mind from architecture. Platinum is IMHO the appropriate choice for such rare gems. One of least posh designs in this collection. As often in David's work, the center gem is set to be visible in its profile and thus a pleasure to behold from all angles.

Comment: As rare as rubies are these unheated neon pink sapphires from Burma. With full 1.80 carat this outrageously intense pink is utterly free of inclusions, even under the lens. The emerald precision-cut is perfectly suited for such clarity and the intense hue. Excellent brilliancy, especially for an emerald-cut. No window, WGI report with 'ho-heat' and 'Burma'. Additional reports on request. The amount of purple the eye perceives depends (as always) on the light-condition or/and on your personal definition of where purple begins and red or pink ends. Our images show the variations of hue and saturation in all their glory. Handshots were done indoors and with nothing but on a rainy London sky outside.
