Comment: With emerald the famed deeper green brother, this here is bright green beryl with all qualities minus the price. So delicately chromium-colored, it seems soft, even gaseous, the edge between air and stone not sharp but undefined porous. And yet, it is harder than emerald and its low density produces a big gem, here over 10x7mm with just over two carats.
