Comment: Rose-cut-to-match unheated pink sapphires for a pair of big but not overloaded earrings. With flat backs and irregular faceted concave tops, each piece is unique in details and yet undistiguishable from another after a mix-up. Hue and tone is best caught in the handshots, an earthy bordeaux red-pink, closer to red perhaps on some retinas, in that case called 'ruby' but irrelevant to the value in such opaque gems. The symmetric shape is best visible in the dark image showing both pieces with a thinner and a thicker part, each mirroring the other; an offering to the creative jewelery designer. Lap-test-report from the Spanish IGE, an old and respected non-profit institute in Madrid, free global shipping, grading report and WLT plot are included in meagre $135/ct for unheated pink sapphire.
