Comment: The promised ideal-matched partner for 6.83 , culled as best-of a large parcel of these new shell-shaped amethysts from Rwanda (only one or two of the others are gem-quality, the others will end in the no-use trunk, cost of doing business). To avoid repetitions, please, if you are interested, add the comment-section of 6.83 for a full description on this new amethyst-shells carved shape from facet-quality untreated material as opposed to cabochon quality. Deep dark purple, almost violet. This second shell differs from 6.83 only in a small surface flaw on the underside. Barely $150/ct for facet quality untreated amethyst including all Wild Fish extras. Very different from any normal facetted gem. Allow us to design a special pair of earrings, an original, one that will earn you many compliments; and opportunities to recommend our humble services. Perhaps a beach-themed design with waves splashing around the shells? Could be done in large thin silver sheets.
