Comment: This is the color collectors walk extra miles for. Often too deep for the novice or casual blue-buyer, sleepy Kashmir is the final frontier in sapphire. When this hue hits the nerve-center, the brain tingles in delight. It will not, however, jump in your face, but wants to honored with attention. Then, it beats all other blues and, some say, all other colors. No purple, no gray, as little violet as possible. Just under one carat but with full 6x5mm face-up. The dense crystal allows no window to pale the center, but keeps it evenly deep saturated. The only not-perfect feature is the old polish (hence the cutting grade). This can be corrected on request and with some extra time but free of charge. At first sight, one connects such quality with Burma or the very best from Sri Lanka, but this beauty comes from Kenya and no origin premium has been added. Exceptional color gem in 3*NOS quality (no inclusions, no window, no treatments). Best set in a platinum bezel up to size 6 or, with an added and deserved halo, size 7/8.
