Overall Grade: Very Good

Comment: Extra sparkly round demantoid in strong green with little, if some, yellow. Demantoids and tsavorite have long fought emerald over the throne in green gems. While tsavorites surpass most in color, demantoids dominate the field in luster. But both varieties tend to be found in smaller sizes. This precision-cut 5mm round does well in both, color and brilliancy. The fresh green is never pale, nor yellow, and always ready to sparkle. No window, no visible inclusions, no treatments. Will fill a lady's ring up to size 6 with enough luster, and will remain equally visible in a pendant. IMO best combined with white gold or platinum. With a thick bezel, balance can be held up to size 7. A halo should use gems without dominant luster, perhaps cabochon melee or, too add even more green, small emeralds.
