Comment: A ring for pear-shape fans. Most pear or drop gems are set in pendants, but David did the unusual. A delicate Edwardian ring in all dimensions, from the thinnest halos, to the split band and the heart shape inlays on the side: open space everywhere but also color and glitter! Five grams only for this cocktail-size ring, a fine choice for those who love a posh show, but don't like to carry too much weight around. A feather weight compared to other rings in this size. See the fine detailed gold-work in the close-up images. David has contracted only the very best goldsmiths of London for his collection, and it shows. Obviously, such delicate designs cannot be worn for free-climbing or garden-work.

Comment: Thanks to David, we now have access to the legendary old-mine aquamarines of Brazil, called Santa Maria for their exquisite colors, set in these posh designer rings, each one-of-a-kind. These pear-shaped six carats are free of inclusions (nothing visible under the lens), precision cut and certified unheated. In the handshot below, you see the hue as it was indoors on a rainy day in London. Imagine a sunny day! That color is the most sought-after hue in aquamarine, an intense pool color, almost with neon qualities, one of the most fascinating materials the gem-world has to offer. WGI report with 'untreated' and 'Brazil'. Additional reports on request.
