Overall Grade: Excellent

Comment: Neon green garnet exploding under just a secondary idea of sunshine especially where the rays come bursting out inside luster (this being a sunny day). Only in one photo was the neon blaze manageable, still being as green as green can be. Even in the handshot we had to tilt the gem slightly so as not to overload the camera. From a parcel of best Tsavorite crystals with a sheen of tiny gas bubbles, very much 'lens-only'. All 3*NOS fulfilled. Under one carat is no shame in tsavorite, especially not if it makes light sing in such a color. With 6x5mm it will have no problem filling a solitary ring. See also the side-image where the color truly on its own. Add the fire from the main image and you know why tsavorite has been such successful gemstone, long passing by other green gems, green sapphire, many tourmalines or normal emeralds, in price and rarity.
