This emerald has passed muster despite a window, thanks to a great color. Trade-off between the shallow cut (52%) and a huge face-up with over 8x6mm, normally a two carat gem, here delivered from just under one carat. Inclusions are only white crystals and internal fissures, no ugly black spots or yellow blotches. Visible only under the lens or with extra attention and good eyesight, and then only in the center and before a dark background. For emerald this is better than average thus 'lightly included'. Images represent strong neon blue-green and flashy brilliancy as in person. If you can handle a window in exchange for a fine eye-catching hue and more luster than in most emeralds, this is a bargain. Rivaling paraiba in hue. As all emeralds it should be set with some protection if in a ring, upto size 8/9. In a pendant, and IMO it would do best in a pendant, even as oval, normal prongs will do. Great 'open' emerald color.
