Here is rare specimen of a clean and fine color Sandawana emerald. While most Sandawana have great colors (at minimum they get a 'good color' from any lab) this one is eye-clean, and thus brilliant, plus got a 'fine color'. Most Sandawana are moderate included or translucent. This one here needs a lens to show its few inclusions. On the average small size, it doesn't weaken its color, another Sandawana-only feature, enabling to get a 'fine color' seal from IGI even in 19points (where few gemtypes retain full color). Deep rich green-only with full brilliancy. Set in a  channel, or dropped into a wide band, its visibility will satisfy even a size 7 ring. A green torch in the dark. Few emeralds can glitter. Few have a perfect color. Both together, ah! Good cutting delivers a perfect gem, nevermind the size. For the collector, a chance to own a most rare clean Sandawana, in jewelry, it will add a powerful color splash to any design, imagine it for example as contrast over a larger red gem in a pendant, or it can stand on its own.
