Overall Grade: Good

Comment: Off-color sapphire mixing orange, purple and pink/red. Which hue is primary and which secondary depends on the light setting, and of your personal color perception, a fact that helps greatly on the budget. Personally, on first impression, I've seen a deep orange. The silky crystal reminds of hessonite or spessartine with that grainy fluid impression. Untypical sapphire in many criteria, and no window, no eye-visible inclusions and no treatments in a strong natural hue, the 3Nos that allow it to participate here (and are far from average quality). Obviously a handcut with rounded cushion shape. For rings not over size 6, better size 4. Bargain gem for a collection of untreated sapphires.
