Comment: Here is a something beyond one-of-a-kind. Kashmir is the most famous, rarest, and most expensive origin for corundum, with only a few blue sapphires in gem quality available at any given time and at excruciating cost. We have a few unheated Kashmir sapphires in our stock that have ruby qualities in some light settings, and were offered as Kashmir rubies, but thus far we have never come across a true Kashmir ruby, a red sapphire, that did NOT encourage a discussion about its classification. This 0.40 needs no discussion what-so-ever. In the same spirit, I dared to choose the term 'pigeon blood' for the color grading. A short, or endless, research will fail to uncover any other ruby combining this, or a similar, color with Kashmir origin. Therefore, in all humbleness, we claim a priceless rarity (nevertheless needs a price). Though shallow, the eye does not catch a window, nor does it perceive any inclusions without lens. Shallow-but-no-window always means a free giant face-up, almost 6x4mm in 40 points! Additional reports can be made. Big DSEF report for free with a small wait. Certified unheated, as all our rubies.
