Comment: Here is a rarity even for our standards: This is (be seated) a 'Usanbara Color Changing Chrome Tourmaline' of massive 16 carat and zero inclusions. The cc phenomena has a fascinating but complex scientific back ground which is described well here. Though very dark, this gem offers what Alexandrite never delivered: A 100% change from green to red. The green being a dense dark chrome green and the red a rich Bordeaux color. GRS certificate. Precision cut. We have an exclusive partnership with the owner of this piece and, contrary to our usual policies, we thus have no fix price but will have to negotiate as demand allows.
