Comment: Dripping with color in the deepest possible combination of pink, red and purple, a color that only rhodolite can deliver below ruby-rates. Never more than a third of black-out (as in the handshot). No window, no treatments, no visible inclusions: our preferred 3*NO-rule for the best. Note that a precision cut is not a guarantee for near 100% brilliancy. Pear shapes, with their inherit asymmetry, are always more difficult, add a dark tone (MD80) and 66% is actually a pretty good value in a drop or pear. On the other hand, they are of course the ideal shape for pendants and are mostly used there. Ring-settings with drop shaped center gems will either be asymmetric (with the tip along the band) or very delicate and 'touchy' with the tip sticking out far from the band. Solutions are available and you can pass such optimization problems to our workshop.
