Money-transfers get 5% discount! Bank-to-bank wires are reliable, fast and cost efficient, especially if you use online banking. Click 'Money Order' during your check-out and we will contact you with all the necessary details on money transfer.

Buying parcels at up to 25% discount:

If you plan on buying 3 or more stones you may negotiate a parcel price. It is common practice in the gem trade. BUT: As much as you can not take one beer from a six-pack and ask for the six-pack-rate, you can not get a parcel price without buying a parcel ("No picking from parcels", as they say in the trade). If you don't like a gem inside the parcel you may return it but you will have to re-negotiate the price of the remaining stones. Do not negotiate a parcel price if you are planning to choose only one gem. If you are not sure what this means: Ask us.

Customs: Loose Gems

There is no import duty on colored gemstones in the USA, Canada, Europe, Japan, Australia or New Zealand.

Customs: Jewelry

Other than gemstones, finished jewelry incurs a low import-tax in most countries. Our prices include VAT or GST where applicable, and delivery to your doorstep. 

Destination taxes: How much? For the USA, the current import tariff is 5.5% of the declared value. The EU charges 2.5%, Australia 5% and Japan 5.4%.

Depending on your state/country and the location of the gem, the common sales-taxes, GST or VAT, is included in our prices as in any retail outfit. Ask us for details.

In general, you will NOT be bothered with the details of the import-process but simply be required to pay a certain amount at the time you receive the item.

The transport company (e.g. Fedex, UPS or Malca-Amit) will calcluate the exact amount due and get your permission BEFORE they deliver.
